Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026 · Effective from publication

1. Who we are

LonEra is the consumer-facing brand operated by LONERA TECHNOLOGIES, a sole proprietorship registered in Malaysia. For privacy enquiries and requests relating to personal data, contact hello@loneratech.com.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to the LonEra public website, Healthy Aging Assessment, digital reports and related services. Where a feature has a separate notice or consent flow, that notice applies to the processing it describes. The Assessment Privacy Notice and the consent presented before assessment submission explain the Assessment-specific processing in more detail.

3. Information we process

Depending on the service you use, information may include: (a) assessment information such as age group, sex, selected language, optional country or region context, responses, measurements, scores, priorities and assessment history; (b) technical identifiers, assessment and consent versions, timestamps and service logs; (c) order and payment-status information such as order references, amount, currency, provider transaction references and timestamps; and (d) information you provide when contacting us. For the current Assessment, we do not request your name, exact date of birth, phone number or precise location.

4. Health-related information and consent

Some Assessment responses may be health-related information, including waist measurement, physical activity, functional strength and mobility, sleep, daytime energy, food patterns, nicotine exposure, alcohol use and subjective health. We request explicit consent for processing the health-related information needed to provide, calculate, save and explain the Healthy Aging Assessment and baseline result. If you do not consent, you can return without submitting Assessment information.

5. Purposes and limits

We process information to provide, calculate, save and explain Assessment results; preserve assessment history and scoring reproducibility; provide purchased reports; operate, secure and troubleshoot the services; manage orders and payment verification; respond to enquiries and data-rights requests; and meet applicable legal obligations. Under the core Assessment consent, Assessment information is not used for research, AI model training or marketing based on your health profile. A materially different future purpose will be separately reviewed and, where appropriate, require separate consent.

6. How the Assessment works

The Healthy Aging Score is calculated automatically using a predefined scoring method based on the responses submitted. The Assessment is educational and does not diagnose disease, calculate life expectancy or replace professional medical advice.

7. Service providers and disclosure

Technology and service providers may process information on our behalf where necessary to host, operate, secure, support or process payments for the services. Assessment data is stored in the LonEra production database hosted by Supabase in the North-East Asia region (Tokyo, Japan). ToyyibPay is used for payment processing. Other providers may process information according to the services used and their configurations. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law. We do not sell personal data.

8. International processing

Because service providers may operate infrastructure in different countries, information may be processed outside Malaysia. The applicable processing arrangements depend on the providers, services and configurations in use. We take steps appropriate to applicable legal requirements when engaging providers and handling cross-border processing.

9. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, subject to applicable legal, security and operational requirements. Different records may be retained for different periods. Information may be retained where required or permitted by law or where necessary for legitimate security and operational purposes.

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the services. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We handle personal data incidents in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

11. Your rights and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, withdrawal of consent, deletion, and restriction or prevention of certain processing. Assessment data-rights requests can be submitted through the LonEra Privacy & Data Rights page. You may also email hello@loneratech.com. We review requests and may verify your identity and association with the relevant Assessment before disclosing or changing personal data. A Data Reference ID helps us locate an Assessment but is not, by itself, proof of identity or authorization to access health-related information. The Assessment process aims to respond within 30 days; this is an internal service target and does not replace any shorter or otherwise applicable statutory deadline.

12. Withdrawal of consent

You may request to withdraw consent through the Privacy & Data Rights page or by contacting us. We will review the request and take appropriate action where applicable. Withdrawal may affect our ability to continue providing some or all Assessment services. Information may be retained where required or permitted by applicable law or necessary for legitimate security and operational purposes.

13. Cookies, local storage and preferences

The public website may use browser storage to remember your selected language. The Assessment may use browser storage necessary to maintain assessment session and consent context. If non-essential analytics, advertising cookies or similar technologies are introduced, we will update this Policy and provide any consent controls required by law before enabling them.

14. Age eligibility

The Healthy Aging Assessment and paid Assessment services are intended for adults aged 18 or above. Do not submit Assessment information if you are under 18. Public educational pages may be viewable without submitting Assessment information.

15. Third-party links

Our website or services may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices and policies.

16. Changes

We may update this Policy when our services, processing activities or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will be published on this page. Historical consent records retain the privacy-notice version associated with the relevant consent event.

17. Contact

For privacy enquiries or data-related requests, contact hello@loneratech.com. Please do not email unnecessary health, identity or financial information.
